Diane Benussi founded Benussi and Co in 1993 and for many years has enjoyed a national reputation for matrimonial and family work. She deals with all aspects of family law and specialises in High Net Worth financial issues arising out of relationship breakdown, advising high profile individuals seeking a discreet service.
She is renowned for her unique blend of experience, expertise and emotional intelligence which make her a sought-after commentator as well as a valuable source of advice for clients.
Diane set up the West Midlands branch of the Solicitors Family Law Association (now known as Resolution) of which she was a chairman for 3 years. She is a past President of Birmingham Law Society and former chairman of lobby group Birmingham Forward.
She is the author of “How Not to Get Divorced at Christmas” which is available as a free download. She has her own blog, described by The Lawyer as “worth a read”, is a contributor to publications including The Financial Times and a regular broadcaster on television and radio.
Diane is among only a handful of solicitors outside London recommended in the prestigious Citywealth Leaders List 2016 where she appears in the Family and Matrimonial Honours List.
Diane is also recognised by Legal 500 as “highly committed” and delivering a “fierce fight” on behalf of clients.
