Since the first lockdown the family courts have been operating as best they can remotely.
Whilst not perfect, the system in private cases is working relatively well and everyone is adjusting to the new normal.
The majority of hearings are being heard by telephone, although more in-person final hearings in contested Children Act and Family Law Act proceedings are being listed and it is hoped that will continue despite the latest lockdown news.

Pre and post discussions are essential so we structure the court day as we would if we were attending court with you, so that we can provide the holistic support and advice we specialise in.
Remote hearings will be around for the foreseeable future and have been subjected to
much bad press recently, but the court system is adapting and improving with each week that passes.
